Free People in Leadenhall Market

Ciao! I’m currently in an energy drink fueled muddle of last minute theory reading and frantic essay writing before my term deadline (Friday, eek!). However I tend to find that procrastination makes me super productive at everything other than the thing I’m meant to be doing, so on the plus side I’ve planned my posts for about the next month, been active on instagram, and done the washing up. Go me!

It also means I’m living in jeans and a jumper punctuated with the occasional leopard print onesie if I’m feeling particularly sassy. Buuut I’m guessing you don’t really want to see pictures of that (if you are interested in my onesie choices however, please don’t hesitate to speak up, I am happy to oblige), so instead here are some pictures I shot earlier this month with Amanda Julca, featuring some beauticious Free People pieces.

We shot this in gorgeous Leadenhall Market which is in the posh banker part of town, and somewhere I’d never been before (and I’m always so smug about being a cosmopolitan Londoner, how embarrassing)! It was pretty much dead as it was a weekend and the bankers are all off sipping champagne on their yachts or whatever bankers do on the weekend.

When I first saw this dress my response was “ooh, it’s nice.”. As soon as I slipped it on I was like “ohmygawwd I need this is my life!”. It’s so gloriously floaty and comfortable with just a dash of sexy (mainly cause I kept getting overexcited and spinning around in it, causing some major flashage..). It was also absolutely destined to be paired with my floppy hat. If there was a tinder for clothes, they’d be a match no problemo. (Side note, tinder for clothes, that’s a brilliant idea for an app! I’m trademarking it no stealing!).

I’ll be posting the rest of the looks we shot at the market over the next week or so, so keep your eyes peeled! That’s provided I don’t end up in some sort of artificial energy induced coma trying to write this essay. Fingers crossed.
