This post feels almost bittersweet considering the recent events in France. Honestly I was unsure about posting it at all as photos of Eggs Benedict and flower stalls felt frivolous considering the heartbreak the country has faced. However to stay quiet, even if out of respect, and not take the opportunity to celebrate the best of the country, it’s vibrancy, culture, and amazing food (of course!) feels like giving in in some way. In tragedy, surely the best way forward is to spread positivity, and not to be silenced? As such, this post is my way of celebrating the best of the country as I experienced it, frivolous (but delicious) Eggs Benedict and all.
I feel so heartbroken that France has been a target for a lot attacks this past year, cause the country is so darn beautiful! I love your pictures so much. Next time I go, I should definitely visit other cities other than Paris, cause that’s just too cliché, hehe!
